This role is offered as a fixed-term contract, with the opportunity for an internal secondment
We are: Looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Development Assistant to join the Development Team at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
We are a small and incredibly busy department: The Royal Conservatoire is an internationally recognised institution, and the only performing arts conservatoire in the UK that offers training in all the main performing arts disciplines.
You are: Someone who enjoys engaging with a wide range of people while supporting the development ambitions of Scotland’s national conservatoire. You will be comfortable with managing a wide-ranging workload in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to deal with a steady flow of varied enquiries, as well as provide administrative support. You will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, whilst managing competing demands under pressure.
You will: Have excellent interpersonal and administrative skills, and be fully computer literate (MS Office package). In addition to this, you will have excellent data processing skills and have the ability to work accurately and prioritise the workload effectively. You will be able to demonstrate knowledge of Spektrix (or similar CRM database). Knowledge and appreciation of the performing arts and/or higher education environment is also desirable.
