Façade Manager

A Tier 1 contractor is hiring for a Façade Manager for a 12 month duration on a new build residential, high rise project based in White City. Pay ranges from £280-320cis.

About the role of Façade Manager:

The role will be managing the façade package, working alongside an on-site Project Lead. The Façade consists of mostly of bmast climbing, brickwork and rain screen so this experience is crucial. The project is worth circa £80m.

Responsibilities for the Façade Manager:

• Strong people management skills, experience in leading large teams, including solid technical knowledge of short-term programming, construction methodology.
• Experience managing all phases of facade packages, including health and safety, quality, and costs
• Knowledge of facade design, detailing, and structural design standards, as well as experience designing facades for different types of projects
• Understanding of facade materials, manufacturing methods, installation, and testing
• Ability to communicate effectively with architects, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders, and to present design concepts clearly
• Working with other professionals, such as engineers and architects, to achieve project objectives
• Oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites. Making sure all health & safety protocols are in place.
• Manage risks, with any issues that arise are solved promptly and efficiently.
