Summary
Monitoring of supplier performance against agreed achievements and Key Performance measures, including the production of regular progress reports for assigned projects. Identifying and taking corrective action and re-prioritisation of the programme as required.
Collaborating closely with Programme Managers on projects within their areas and regularly supervising and updating key project data on Information Management Systems.
Monitoring in year progress of the programme and undertaking regular analysis and reporting of the key achievements for projects and financial forecasting for the projects assigned to them. Providing effective governance and decision making for the effective control of projects against milestones and budgets.
Engaging and working in collaboration with the supplier for the successful delivery of projects . Leading on the management of risk on their projects including the implementation of risk mitigation/recovery measures where appropriate to meet the schedules with responsibility for dealing with Early Warnings. Undertaking regular site supervision to ensure quality and compliance within programme schedules
Engaging with the customer and support the production of Business Cases for assigned projects where appropriate and monitoring the delivery of the planned benefits . Acting as a trusted advisor, providing customers with professional estate advice and support as necessary.
Provision of project management expertise in support of project delivery in the new major Hard FM Future Defence Infrastructure Services (FDIS) contract.
Sharing standard methodology and best practice with colleagues within Regional Delivery.
Conducting post project evaluations and preparing lessons learned papers where appropriate regarding projects for which you are responsible.
