Summary
This is by no means an exhaustive list as the role is constantly evolving to suit the needs of Kings Medical Centre. The main duties include: ECGs Phlebotomy Processing of Samples e.g. Urine Blood Pressure Checks Health Promotion Checks/MOT Dressings and Wound Care Assistance with Minor Surgery Ordering/Replenishment of medical supplies Administrative Duties (following practice protocols, coding in medical records) Vaccines Vitamin B12 Injections Chaperoning Cleaning of Equipment/Work Stations Adhere to Infection Control Guidance Reporting of Faulty Medical Equipment Training Updates as needs are identified Administering First Aid IT updates
