Tasks
Measure and cut fabrics accurately based on provided patterns, specifications, or designs.
Interpret cutting instructions and layouts to ensure minimal fabric waste.
Operate cutting tools, machines, or equipment safely and efficiently.
Inspect fabrics for defects and ensure quality standards are maintained.
Sort, organize, and label cut pieces for easy identification and use.
Maintain a clean and organized cutting area.
Monitor stock levels of fabrics and report any shortages to the supervisor.
Follow safety guidelines and procedures when handling tools and materials.
Collaborate with designers, tailors, or production teams to meet project timelines.
Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of cutting tools and equipment.
