Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified improvement specialist to join a friendly, supportive and diverse team at WLFS.
The Quality Improvement Project Manager is responsible for the operational delivery of our Inpatient Flow Quality Improvement Programme, as well as a number of other diverse QI Projects that improve the lives of our service users, their carers and staff working with them.
The Improving Flow Quality Improvement Programme is a part of a wider initiative established by the North London Forensic Collaborative. NLFC is formed of five Mental Health Trusts; Barnet Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust (lead provider), East London Foundation Trust, West London Trust, Central and North West London Foundation Trust, and North East London Foundation Trust.
The successful applicant will oversee the planning and delivery of the WLFS Improving Inpatient Flow Programme. The QI Project Manager will also be responsible for supporting teams in completing quality improvement initiatives generated by teams and the proactive identification of other quality improvement initiatives in the service, supporting staff to deliver high-quality, innovative care.
They will possess a sound understanding of quality improvement methodology and have experience of implementing successful change programmes, ideally within a mental health or forensic setting.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and resilient individual with sophisticated communication skills who is able to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including senior managers, clinical staff and patients.
