Summary
Newstaff Employment Services is recruiting for an experienced Injection Mould Setter to join a progressive engineering company based in Stevenage.
Skills Required:
• Experience in injection mould setting, and a knowledge of Arburg/Demag machines
• Have the ability to work to tight time scales without compromising quality and safety
• Preparing new Mould Tools for Production
• Excellent communication skills
• Understanding of materials
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Safe mounting and dismounting of injection mould tools
• Accurate setting of Injection Moulding tools and operating moulding machine
• Tool changes and process set-up
• Machine maintenance
• Tool Trials
• Quality Control
• Responsible for use of engineering machines
• Working in a well-equipped modern tool room
• Modification of Injection Mould Tools
• Dealing with Customers and suppliers
• Stock check
• Preparing new Mould Tools for production
• Maintenance, repair and modification of Injection Mould Tools
Monday to Friday 41.5 hours per week
Overtime available
Salary: £35,000 pa to £38,000 pa depending on experience
