Summary

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Injection Mould Toolmaker to join a well-established precision engineering company specialising in plastic injection moulding and tooling. With decades of experience, they offer end-to-end manufacturing services.

As an Injection Mould Toolmaker, you will be working with advanced machining equipment and be responsible for the manufacture, modification, and repair of high-precision injection mould tools.

This full-time role offers a salary range of £35,000 - £40,000 and benefits.

You will be responsible for:

- Producing and modifying injection mould tools to high tolerances

- Operating manual milling machines, lathes, and surface/cylindrical grinders

- Utilising CNC and manual spark erosion equipment

- Programming and operating wire eroders for complex tooling

- Fitting and assembling new tooling components to specification

- Conducting repairs and modifications on mould tools as required

- Troubleshooting hot runner systems, including wiring and fault finding

- Working with a range of hand tools to complete fine finishing tasks

What we are looking for:

- Previously worked as an CNC Turner, CNC Machinist, CNC Operator, ToolMaker, Tool Maker, Toolroom, CNC Setter,Injection Mould Toolmaker, Injection Moulding Operator, Injection Mouldingsetter,Toolroom Machinist, Toolroom Technician, Tooling Technicianor in a similar role.

- Prior experience in injection mould toolmaking

- Skilled in milling, grinding, tool fitting and general precision machining

- Proven background in the assembly and maintenance of complex mould tools / injection mould tools

- Ability to interpret technical drawings and work to exact tolerances

- Have knowledge of preparing new Mould Tools for Production

- Strong problem-solving capabilities, particularly with tool faults and repairs
