Summary
Purchasing Administrator
Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Salary: £30,000 to £34,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Benefits: 23 days annual leave (increasing with service), generous company bonus, free on-site parking
Purchasing Administrator Role Overview:
You will be responsible for managing all pricing requests, and ensuring quotations are processed efficiently and accurately to support the team’s workflow and objectives.
Responsibilities
• Manage all quotations and ensure the best pricing is achieved.
• Handle tenders to maximise efficiencies and pricing advantages.
• Review quotations to identify opportunities for using stocked products.
• Identify similar processed quotations to improve turnaround times.
• Negotiate pricing on special orders to maximise gross profit.
• Provide guidance to the sales team on similar quotations to enhance efficiency.
Requirements:
• 2–3 years of experience in a purchasing/procurement role.
• Proven negotiation skills and experience.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail with the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
