Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Qualified Teacher of Vision Impairment to join our team at the Beaconsfield site, where you will work with a small group of visually impaired learners, providing high-quality, individualised teaching.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support students in developing their independence, communication, and employability skills.
• Work closely with specialist support staff, including Learning Support Assistants and Therapists.
• Use adaptive technology and specialist resources to enhance learning.
• Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring each learner receives the support they need to thrive.

Key Requirements:
• A teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).
• Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), particularly those with visual impairments.
• Knowledge of adaptive teaching methods and assistive technology for visually impaired learners.
