Summary
We are currently looking for an experienced 'Plater / Fabricator' to join the team, working in our steel fabrication shop in Garswood - Ashton-in-Makerfield, Wigan, just off the East Lancs Road / M6 Ashton turn off.
We manufacture structural steelwork & metalworks and your duties will be fabricating mild steel beams, columns, end plates, mig welding, burning, sawing, drilling, using punch machine, reading tekla drawings, using overhead crane etc.
Immediate start available.
Rate of pay = £16.12 / hour
Current workforce = 10
CSCS card, forklift license would be beneficial.
Hours of work:
Mon to Thurs 8.00am - 4.30pm
Fri 7.00am - 2.15pm
Regular overtime available.
24 days holiday per year + statutory.
