The Role
As a Production Operative, you will be crucial to ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant production of the materials we make.

You will be responsible for operating chemical plant equipment, adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs), and adhering to our health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements.

You will work closely with the Production Supervisor and other production team members to ensure optimal production performance and a safe working environment.

Your duties will include:-

1. Production Operations
- Operate and monitor production machinery
- Load and unload raw materials, chemicals, and finished goods
- Participate in product changeovers, cleaning and maintenance of equipment

2. Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance
- Adhere to the company’s health and safety standards
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
- Participate in safety drills and ongoing safety training

3. Quality Assurance & Control
- Contribute to the company’s quality standards
- Record production data
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and clutter-free workplace

4. Equipment and Maintenance
- Assist in routine cleaning and basic maintenance of production equipment
- Report equipment malfunctions, breakdowns, or safety concerns
- Ensure the proper handling of materials and tools used in maintenance activities

5. Communication & Teamwork
- Work closely with other production operatives and team members
- Communicate effectively with the Production Supervisor
- Contribute to our team environment, supporting colleagues as necessary.
