This is a part time roll for 12 hours per week, up to 18 hours during school holidays.
You will assist the client in his role working at a garden centre each Monday providing 1-1 support, so a love of the outdoors is essential.
For the remaining hours you will enable the client to do things like cycling, swimming, tennis, bowling etc.
Saturday rates are £15.44/hour, weekday evening rates are £12.40/hour.
You must have the ability to communicate well, using simple 2 to 3 key word sentences, with clear enunciation. A knowledge of Makaton would be an advantage but not essential.
The client has a good sense of humour and a sense of fun.
