Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cancer Data Manager with a strong background in Cancer Waiting Times (CWT) and a proven track record as a CWT Deputy Manager or MDT Coordinator. This role is crucial in supporting the delivery of high-quality cancer care by maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records. You will play a key role in mapping out existing and expected cancer pathways to ensure seamless patient care and adherence to national standards. The successful candidate will accurately record, validate, and manage cancer-related data, including pathways, diagnoses, treatments, and staging, across multiple systems. Ensuring compliance with tumour site-specific pathways and Cancer Waiting Times/COSD guidance is essential. You will be responsible for efficiently transferring data to the Somerset Cancer Registry. Additionally, you will map out current and anticipated cancer pathways to guarantee seamless patient care. Collaboration with healthcare professionals to provide reliable data for informed decision-making is a key aspect of this role. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of patient pathways and outcomes
