Summary
For further information on this role, please see the attached detailed Job Description and Person Specification: The post holder will be responsible for the collection and processing of clinical samples (tissue and blood) from multiple units and sites across Royal Marsden and Institute of Cancer Research. The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day management of samples from multi-centre studies hosted by the unit and for the ongoing quality control procedures. The post holder will be responsible for the data and quality management and accurate data entry onto the tracking system of all data, in accordance to GCP guidelines. The post holder will liaise with clinicians, research nurses, pathologists, and laboratory staff to identify and co-ordinate sample collection. The post holder will ensure that the principles of the Human Tissue Act and GCP are always upheld and that all samples collected have appropriate patient consent.
