We are seeking to appoint a conscientious, hardworking and flexible team member who will join the site team as a Site Supervisor.andnbsp; The post holder will be based at New Penshaw Academy, a member of the Inspire family of academies.andnbsp; The post holder may be required to work across the Trust estate as required. andnbsp;andnbsp;

The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Headteacher and School Business Manager, joining the site team to provide a range of services including caretaking, porterage, repair, maintenance and security of the school buildings and their grounds.

This is a highly valued and responsible position and we require a team player with high standards, showing considerable initiative and who is capable of problem solving. andnbsp;Having a hands-on approach to the job and a repertoire of practical, DIY skills are essential.

andnbsp;

As we have five academies across Sunderland, with further expansion possible in the future, it is essential that you can meet the logistical demands of the role and where required, can travel between sites through the working day or out of hours in response to business need as it arises.
