JOB ROLE: Caretaker/Handyman

SALARY: £28,000 per annum

LOCATION: Beaufort Park, Colindale, London, NW9 5EN

HOURS PER WEEK: 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Caretaker at Beaufort Park is responsible for a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the development remains clean, safe, and pleasant for residents. Key duties include conducting monthly water and electric meter readings, fire panel and emergency light testing, cleaning general areas, window cleaning of commercial properties, changing light bulbs in communal areas, jet washing hard surfaces, and performing minor repairs to doors and walls. The role also involves managing additional tasks as directed by supervisors or managers.

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate for the Caretaker role at Beaufort Park should possess essential IT skills, particularly in Excel, along with drywall and decorating skills. They must be capable of prioritizing tasks and performing physically demanding work. Preferred skills include additional decorating abilities, experience with plasterboard repairs, and light fixture maintenance. A full driving license is required.
