Summary

The Best Connection are looking for a Purchasing and Procurement Coordinator, on behalf of our client in Chorley, Lancashire.

You will plan, administer, co-ordinate and control all inventory and non-inventory purchases and services, ensuring that all products purchased meet the organisational needs.

Job Responsibilities:
Raise and progress chase Purchase orders through delivery
Co-ordinate the company's supply of products and services and manage efficient and successful supplier relationships and performance evaluating and determining the most cost-effective inventory and reorder levels.
Monitor inventory and consumable levels and evaluate requirements.
Liaise with all stakeholders to determine optimum stock holding levels
Maintain records of approved suppliers
Determine and negotiate advantageous prices, delivery and credit terms and maintain accurate purchasing and costing records
Provide occassional cover for Production control and planning activities
Create accurate supply chain reports using ERP databases and Microsoft

Shifts & Pay:
Monday to Friday
0800am - 16.30pm
Earlier finish on a Friday
£12.50 per hour

Reliable transportation to/from work

Exposure to Microsoft packages
