About the role

You will work as part of a team to provide secretarial support to the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of the Council as well as the Council’s Leadership Team, in accordance with the Council’s Member-Officer Protocol, ensuring that a consistent and proactive service is provided.

About you

We are looking for someone who has excellent organisational skills and a ‘can do’ approach, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks.

You will need to be able to communicate in a clear, concise and diplomatic manner with councillors, officers at all levels and with members of the public.

Do you already have experience of working as a secretary or Personal/Executive Assistant at senior management level? Do you enjoy working in a team?
