Environmental & Sustainability Coordinator
A leading privately owned contractor based in South Wales is seeking an Environmental & sustainability Coordinator to join their business. This is a excellent opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary business with an extensive background as a reputable contractor. The Environmental & Sustainability Coordinator will play a key part in the development and future of the business, reporting directly to the HSQE Director.
About the role of Environmental & Sustainability Coordinator
This regional contractor traditionally specialises in civil engineering projects and commercial build projects across the education, industrial, energy and water sector valuing up to £30M across the UK for both private and framework clients. The role of the Environmental & sustainability Coordinator will oversee be joining already well established HSQE team based out their office in South Wales.
Responsibilities for Environmental & Sustainability Coordinator
- Provide support surrounding Environmental & Sustainability best practice throughout the business from conception to completion working alongside the tender and operational teams.
- Assist with the development and implementation of strategies to improve the businesses policies surrounding Environmental & Sustainability improvement.
- Regularly promote and encourage campaigns to encourage social convention within the business surrounding Environmental & Sustainability
Requirements for Environmental & Sustainability Coordinator
- Previous experience within the construction industry is preferred.
- Relevant qualification within a related degree either within Geology, Ecology or Environmental Sciences
- Genuine passion and belief for the improvement of Environmental & sustainability standards
