L8 L12 £59,167 to £65,286 per annum
The Governors at Heathfield Primary School would like to appoint a highly effective, dedicated and enthusiastic Deputy Headteacher.
We are looking for an inspirational and effective Deputy Headteacher to join the Heathfield family.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the Quality of Education, working closely with the Headteacher and Subject leaders to implement a high quality, ambitious and exceptional curriculum for Heathfield Children. The candidate will lead a core subject and be the assessment lead. The candidate will be part of the Year 6 team and responsible for ensuring targeted children achieve the age related standard. As well as this, the successful candidate will be a deputy designated safeguarding lead.
We are looking for someone who:
Will lead by example in line with Heathfield values, fostering a culture where every child, staff member, and community member feels valued and supported and part of ‘The Heathfield family’
Is an excellent primary practitioner, delivering consistently high quality lessons, adapting teaching to meet the needs of all children, to ensure all children achieve their potential
Has experience at senior leadership level with a proven record of raising academic standards as a direct result of their leadership and teaching
Has strong knowledge of teaching and assessment in all of the primary phases and is able to model, promote and develop high quality teaching and learning strategies across the school
Has experience of effective curriculum design that has been implemented successfully with measurable impact
Have a good knowledge of SEND and be able to work in collaboration with the SENDCO to support effective curriculum design and implementation
Gives the highest priority to the quality of education at Heathfield Primary School
Will challenge, lead and empower staff to be the best they can be so they can effectively implement ‘The Heathfield Way’.
Have the vision, drive and ability to motivate and inspire children and staff to reach their full potential
Promote effective engagement with parents and the wider community
Support school with implementing effective safeguarding processes and procedures to ensure the safety of Heathfield children.
