An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Spanish-speaking Nursery Practitioner to join Upton's premier bilingual English/Spanish day nursery in a setting which provides children with a unique chance to learn both languages and reap the benefits of an enriching bilingual environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
• Support the daily routine of the nursery
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for the children
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
• Ensure that children are kept safe and that all legislation in relation Health & Safety and Safeguarding is complied with·
• Ensure all children benefit from diverse and enriching play experiences ·
• Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
• Observe, support and extend each child’s learning and development and maintain the relevant paperwork ·
• Work in partnership with parents/carers and children’s families
Essential Skills and Experience Required:
• A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
• Ability to engage and inspire children through creative and stimulating activities
• Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative
• A positive, upbeat attitude and a willingness to learn
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience of working with children, preferably in a nursery or childcare setting
• Spanish-speaking
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, no weekends, 2025 start dates now available
A DBS check will be required for the successful candidate
