Summary
Applications are invited for this post, which will provide training in all aspects of orthopaedic oncology surgery as well as providing opportunities for research spanning basic, translational and clinical sciences relevant to sarcoma. The post is available to commence in February 2025 for 12 months.
Previous experience of orthopaedic oncology is essential and applicants must possess part 2 FRCS (or equivalent) along with a valid CCT. A PhD in sarcoma science is desirable. The duties of the post will be adjusted to suit the particular experience and training requirements of the successful candidate.
This post is created to providetraining in all aspects of orthopaedic oncology surgery as well as providing opportunities for research spanning basic, translational and clinical sciences relevant to sarcoma.The balance of the post can be adjusted depending on the requirements of the appointee.

Teaching and Research:
The posts will have a commitment to research in order to support Mr K Rankin in the delivery of translation research and sarcoma surgical clinical trials.
Locationof Duties
The post holder will work mainly at the Freeman Hospital.
