Job People Services Assistant (12 month fixed term contract)

Key Purpose of the Role

To work in partnership with community areas and the wider People Team to provide a high quality, compliant and responsive service relating to people administration, handling first line enquiries for all United Response colleagues and providing a comprehensive onboarding service for new joiners and offboarding for leavers.

Essential Criteria

To thrive in this role, you must have:

  • You have excellent attention to detail and are able to prioritise and organise work according to deadlines
  • You’ll have good communication skills both in writing and verbally
  • Delivering great customer service will be a priority for you during both written and verbal contacts
  • You will be able to take ownership of workload and identify and resolve or escalate any issues
  • You’ll be able to work with the wider people team to deliver a great people service to operational colleagues
  • You have excellent IT skills and experience of maintaining databases to input extract and analyse information
  • You have a willingness to develop your own knowledge and provide accurate information and advice on wide range of people policies, process and benefits
  • You value diversity and believe strongly in creating an inclusive environment
