The Governors and Headteacher of Beever Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, level two teaching assistant to join our dedicated staffing team. This post is initially until March 2026 and subject to funding.
Serving an area close to the centre of Oldham, Beever Primary School works with parents to encourage each child to fulfil their potential by means of high standards within a broad and well-rounded education. Beever aims to equip each child with skills, attitudes and values to develop them into responsible citizens. Pupils learn effectively in a safe, secure, high-quality environment where there is a happy, positive and inclusive school culture.

The successful candidate will:
- Be able to easily build rapport with children as well as demonstrating resilience and have the ability to discover and implement strategies which best engage pupils in their learning
- Be able to adapt live teaching to meet the needs of a small group of pupils
- Be able to deliver the provision detailed on EHCPs
- Be able to deliver high quality small group/1-2-1 interventions to support pupils’ progress
- Be an excellent communicator with a strong commitment to working in partnership with all staff and our families
- Be passionate about education and be able to inspire and nurture children’s enjoyment of learning and their wellbeing whilst ensuring high levels of achievement
- Have a focussed attitude, demonstrating personal integrity and professionalism
