Summary
Working across NCHQ at Portsmouth, DE&S & SDA at Abbey Wood and MoD HO in London, the Prog Ctrls Officer operates as a part of the Naval Support Integrated Global Network (NSIGN) leadership team, comprising of capability and programme managers who are central to the maritime support enterprise framework, delivering and sustaining the RN’s operational capability and outputs, both safely and with certainty. The NSIGN leadership team works closely with Navy Command Delivery Agents, predominantly DE&S, SDA and external support partners, to deliver ships, submarines and naval base support arrangements from Oct 26 onwards providing Navy Command with certainty of delivery for operational availability, value for money and improved enterprise resilience.
The NSIGN Prog Ctrls Desk Officer role supports the NSIGN Programme Manager with the development and delivery of the programmes integrated schedule, risk and opportunity management, strategic governance, including business case submissions, benefits planning and delivery tracking, and internal/external reviews and assurance. The role will also support the management of NSIGNs client support framework and engagement in planning, budgeting, and forecasting the funding and resources required to deliver the programme.
