Summary

As part of the Prevent Partnership Team, you will drive and deliver the Prevent agenda across the wider policing family, facilitating engagement between policing teams, partner organisations and communities. This will be done through the development and delivery of presentations and training packages, delivering face to face inputs and managing continuous professional development for internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

- Working collaboratively with Prevent partners in local authorities, schools, higher/ further educational institutions, faith institutions/organisations, the health sector, the prison and probation services.

- Delivering briefings to local policing staff, partners and communities.

- Development of training packages, events, online training and continuous professional development inputs and delivering these.

- Targeted delivery of the above, using analytical data, to priority areas across the region.

- Administrating and managing the Prevent Ambassador scheme, promoting, encouraging and supporting the delivery of Prevent with Police Staff and Officers across the region.

- Taking minutes and actions at meetings when required.

- Acting as a subject matter expert, providing specialist support to others.
