Summary
The Ridgeway School is a co-educational school which caters for young people 2-19 years who have severe and/or profound multiple learning difficulties and is part of the Weydon Multi Academy Trust.
We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and highly motivated communications support worker with BSL level 2 to support a primary aged pupil 1:1 in class. You will be working in a supportive, friendly environment as valued members of a class team. Experience and/or knowledge of working with autistic pupils and managing students with challenging behaviour will be an advantage, but not essential as full training and induction are provided.
Hours: 29.25 hours per week term time only (38.6 hours per week)Actual salary (pro rated) £18,250 to £21,010. We offer a Local Government Pension Scheme and opportunities for career progression
