Summary
We are looking for a smiley, enthusiastic & reliable employee to join our team. Must be able to work at weekends and school Holidays. The ideal candidate will be hard working, friendly and enthusiastic with a passion to work with children and in hospitality.
Requirements:
• This is a customer facing role so ongoing personality required - Outgoing, friendly, enthusiastic and fun.
• At ease with children of all ages and able to communicate and relate to adults and children alike
• Have a ‘can do’ attitude
• Reliable and flexible
• Able to work on own initiative
• Excellent customer service skills
• A passion to work with children and in hospitality
• Hard working, reliable & positive attitude
• Must be of smart appearance, clean and hygienic.
• Key team worker but with the ability to work on own at times.
• To have a proactive flexible approach (e.g. happy to get into a costume and dance with children if required. Willing to support the team with general duties during busy periods or in the absence of others)
• Attention to detail such as cleanliness, smart appearance and going the extra mile for our customers.
• Experience in face to face customer service in a Children’s entertainment environment is preferred but not essential.
Job role includes:
• Meeting and greeting children and guests
• Setting up party rooms
• Leading children to and from activities
• Delivering food to parties
• Ensuring that all guest have a fun experience
• Supervision of the soft play area to ensure that children are playing safely and adhering to the rules of play.
• Cleaning duties in the soft play, ensuring that the area is safe and clean before customers enter and during opening hours, ensuring areas are clean and presentable at all times
• Cleaning tables
• General cleaning duties
• Customer registration - ensuring customers are signing in and out
• Serving food and drink
• Monitoring all equipment to ensure it is safe to use and reporting any issues
• All other duties as business requires
