Summary
Main duties of the job The main duties of the role as practice nurse are listed below: Assist in and perform routine tasks related to patient care as directed by senior nursing staff and GPs Chronic Disease Management - Diabetes, COPD, Asthma, Hypertension HRT and Contraception reviews Cytology Wound care / ulcer care/Doppler INR - anticoagulation monitoring Removal of Sutures Travel Clinic - immunisations ECGs Venepuncture Routine immunisations and Childhood immunisations Following agreed clinical protocols with referral to senior nurses or GPs as appropriate Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: Depending on experience Expected hours: 30 37.5 per week
