What to expect
The Operations Support Specialist is responsible for helping our network of over 11,500 branches run sound operational franchise businesses. This is a field-based role whereby role holders will visit branches to undertake a range of visit types; critically stock and cash verification, but also covering operational and matters such as cash management and day to day branch accounting.


You will be responsible for providing onsite stock checks as well as supporting Postmasters with any procedural and process improvements. You will be required to submit timely reports providing details of your visits and if training needs are identified, ensure they are submitted to our Training team.


This is a field based role so a full driving license is a must. As you will be responsible for covering the North East with additional travel expected into the North West

What you’ll need to succeed
To be considered for the role you will need to be able to communicate complex issues and excel in Customer Service. You will also need to have:
• Good understanding of current Post Office systems
• Excellent organisational skills including the ability to plan and prioritise workloads
• The ability to show great empathy and be highly supportive in an often pressured environment
• Have meticulous attention to detail and high levels of professional integrity
