Summary
Part Time Passenger transport assistant, with experience in additional needs
Bright Lives Social Enterprise CIC
POST TITLE: Transport Driver
LOCATION: Colchester
RESPONSIBLE TO: Transport Manager
JOB ROLE: To support passengers whilst being transported to and from the Bright Lives CIC centres within North Essex.
To support people of all ages over 17 with additional needs whilst on the bus minibus and support staff in accordance with the Highway Code and in accordance with good practice to maintain client, staff and public safety.
To ensure the vehicle is kept clean and tidy both inside and out.
To work with adults of all ages who have a wide spectrum of disabilities including physical, challenging, sensory and learning disabilities that may cause distress and create difficult working environments.
This would suit someone looking for part time hours with previous experience in a care home of day centre provision.
Morning from 7.30 am to 10.30 am
Afternoons from 14.30 - 17.30 pm.
Experience an advantage supporting passengers with additional needs an advantage.
Enhanced DBS will be required, this can be obtained for a suitable candidate at the companies cost.
