Salary: Grade 6 SCP21, FTE £32,115 pro-rata Button Lane Primary School is a good school which caters for primary aged children, and we are seeking to appoint a Designated Safeguarding Deputy. This is an opportunity to become part of a positive and innovative team, that aims to provide high quality support for our children and their families.
The successful candidate would need:
  • To safeguard and protect the children, young people and staff at the School
  • Liaise with the Head of Inclusion and Headteacher
  • Act as a source of support, advice and expertise to staff on matters of safeguarding
  • Obtain access to resources and attend any relevant or refresher training courses
  • To be able to work effectively as part of a team and independently, using their own initiative
