Project Planner to join our team at HMS, supporting construction projects across Liverpool, St Helens, and Warrington.
In this vital role, you’ll be at the heart of our project success—developing detailed programmes of work, monitoring progress, and
optimising resources to ensure every stage, from tender to completion, runs smoothly.
Your expertise will drive efficient project planning and delivery while ensuring compliance with HMS Project Planning Procedures.

Responsibilities:
* Develop, manage, and maintain project programmes using software like Microsoft Project.
* Define timelines, milestones, and deliverables while monitoring progress and risks.
* Conduct site visits to refine sequencing, logistics, and delay documentation.
* Support tender programmes, bid-stage projects, and exit strategies.
* Attend key meetings, prepare reports, and maintain programme logs.
* Foster stakeholder relationships and identify business opportunities.
* Perform additional duties as needed.
Skills & Experience:
* HNC/HND in Construction or NVQ 4 in Construction discipline or working towards one.
* Knowledge of Construction methodologies and sequencing.
* Experience of project planning.
* Knowledge of JCT and NEC contract families.
Interview Process:
* Candidates will undergo in-person interviews, consisting of a competency-based interview.
