Summary
Key Responsibility
Contributing to the development and implementation of a structured and comprehensive planned maintenance programme.
Managing and overseeing minor capital projects with budgets ranging from £1-2 million, including the preparation of project specifications, securing necessary planning permissions (including Listed Building Consent) and Building Control approvals, awarding contracts, and ensuring effective management throughout the construction process.
Coordinating responsive and remedial repair works by appointing qualified contractors, preparing detailed specifications, and securing any required consents to execute the repairs efficiently.
Obtaining expert advice and conducting calculations for the design, specification, and replacement of mechanical and electrical systems, whether for refurbishment projects or as part of new capital developments.
Managing the specification, procurement, contract award, and delivery of new mechanical and electrical systems for construction projects to ensure they meet project requirements and standards.
Securing technical guidance and preparing accurate calculations to support bids for Public Sector Decarbonisation initiatives, contributing to the achievement of Net Zero carbon emission targets.
Must have full time Right to work.
