Summary
Morgan Hunt are working with an Ofsted Outstanding training provider who are recruiting for a Hair Tutor in Newcastle. This is a full time permanent role paying up to £27,000 however part time candidates will also be considered. The role will involve teaching Hair up to Level 3 as well as visiting salons.
The Hair Tutor will be responsible for:
- Teaching Hairdressing Levels 2 and 3
- Visiting salons to conduct assessments
- Ensuring all documentation is complete to meet awarding body compliance
- Engaging with salon managers to promote the business and ensure future pipeline of learners
- Conducting quality assurance reviews with the IQA
The Hair Tutor will need to have:
- A Level 3 in Hairdressing
- Salon experience working up to managerial level
- Teaching or assessing experience
- An Assessor or Teaching qualification
- A minimum of a grade C in GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to meet company needs
