Join our dedicated team at WICU! We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (adult) to provide exceptional care to people who require inpatient intermediate care in the community. In this role, you will deliver person-centred, holistic care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. You will­ work with the service users to progress towards discharge and effectively communicate with the MDT, service-users and their loved ones.

We require aBand 5 Registered Nurseon the NMC register, and while applicants who are newly qualified are welcome, strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Interviews taking place wc 13th January 2025

You will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for Service Users within the WICU community ward. You will provide high quality care that meets the needs of Service Users who require an inpatient bed to either avoid hospital admission, for rehabilitation, or further assessment of their nursing needs which can include managing complicated long-term conditions, recognition and response to deterioration and care towards the end of life. You will also contribute to the development of a positive working environment, demonstrating SCARF principals and be committed to the development of yourself and others.

WICU is an experienced team of Nurses and AHPs. The team also works with our Advanced Practitioner, Assistant Psychologist, Pharmacist, Activity Co-ordinator, GP and many other professionals. • Toparticipateinweeklymulti-disciplinaryclinicalreviews.
• Toliaisewith,andrefer to,allthoseinvolvedinthedeliveryofcareto ensureadequatecareandsupportforservice users.
• ToidentifyandrecordallincidentsandconcernsandreportbacktotheWard Manager.
