Skills & Experience required:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Teams and email
Excellent organisation and communication skills with the ability to multitask during busy periods as well as pass information and liaise effectively with colleagues and officers to process applications, information and tasks accurately using a number of in-house systems/methods to collect and process data.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to deal with, at times, challenging situations, which could be face to face and on the telephone, taking accurate information, whilst checking and updating electronic systems.
Ability to multi-task and deal with changing priorities with statutory deadlines.
What's involved with this role: We are looking for an experienced administrator to take the position within the team supporting Taxi Licensing. Working in a reactive, fast-paced environment of this role involves supporting between a busy front-line reception and back-office environment, with the ability to deal with, at times, difficult and challenging customers both face to face and on the telephone.
You will process all aspects of licensing applications and related tasks accurately to tight deadlines using a number of in-house and external systems/methods. Tasks also include the management of email accounts, call handling of a very busy phone line, coordinating the booking of MOT schedule tests and a number of other related tasks.
