Summary

Manage a variety of duties in a complex and challenging environment whilst ensuring an excellent level of customer service

Be first point of contact for Interfaces enquires/requests and provide a suitable response within an agreed timescale

Develop good working relationships with Stakeholders to help facilitate increased output and quicker resolutions

Continually develop knowledge of Interfaces to become an SME

Assist Line Management and Product Owners with change requests and other administrative tasks

Attend meetings as required, record and track any actions where appropriate and cascade details onwards as necessary

In this Interfaces’ Support role, you will carry out day-to-day administration tasks across one or more digital Tools managed by the Interfaces Team including Oracle Cloud, ServiceNow, Jira, SharePoint, Confluence and potentially others as the portfolio of the team grows. Typical activities will include the following:

Maintain and review Interface Control Documents and the Master Interface Register
Deal with Interface Incidents from notification to resolution, keeping track on Service Now and providing updates to the relevant Stakeholder
Complete on and off boarding for users and services?
Manage groups and permissions and advise on best practice
Collaborate with stakeholders to schedule relevant testing including supporting the production of appropriate documents, test scenarios and use of tooling to log defects
Collaborate with team members to drive continuous improvement of our platforms
Person specification
Essential:

A sound, basic understanding of what an Interface is, how they work within different systems and how they are successfully maintained
Good basic knowledge of MS Excel
Excellent Communication skills including being able to effectively communicate at all levels
Basic knowledge on Agile & ITIL
Desirable:

Intermediate MS Excel knowledge and skills
Working with Contractors
Knowledge of the change process
Working with DBS departments and the wider MOD
