Summary

Join us as an Associate, Large Cap, Leveraged & Acquisition Finance

  • You’ll contribute towards the delivery of our Leveraged & Acquisition franchise across both Sponsor and Corporate customers

What you'll do

You’ll be a member of a specialist product team leading end-to-end execution and origination workstreams for our customers. You’ll also collaborate with stakeholders across the bank, as well as external clients and advisors.

You’ll also be:

  • Undertaking credit analysis including writing credit papers, reviewing due diligence, and building leveraged buy-out models
  • Preparing marketing materials such as lender presentations and offering memorandums
  • Reviewing legal documentation including term sheets and other finance documents
  • Guiding support teams on internal processes such as know-your-client checks and funding
  • Supporting origination workstreams by preparing high quality pitch materials and collaborating with stakeholders across the bank including client coverage leads
  • Liaising with external clients and advisors to successfully execute transactions

The skills you'll need

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, demanding and rewarding environment. You’ll need a strong diverse set of technical and practical skills, including credit analysis, financial statement analysis and modelling.

You’ll also need:

  • Excellent time management skills, including the ability to juggle multiple workstreams and prioritise where required
  • Unparalleled attention to detail
  • The ability to present your view on transaction credit strengths and considerations to key stakeholders in deal team discussions and at credit committees
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in teams with a diverse group of individuals
  • Proactive and motivated to drive, workstreams, culture and take personal ownership of your own career progression
