The Training & Work-Based Learning Administrator role will provide the business and administrative support for the successful delivery of training and work-based learning activities across SRUC. The majority of the workload will comprise managing the day to day running of training courses delivered to external clients, students and staff, and work-based learning activities.
Key duties / Responsibilities:
- Support the efficient delivery of commercial training courses (short courses) and work-based learning activities in line with appropriate internal and accrediting body policies, procedures and requirements.
- Liaise with other administrative and management staff and stakeholders to support the efficient working and delivery of training and work-based learning.
- Ensure that tasks are completed timeously and effectively to ensure the smooth running and delivery of learning events.
- Maintain educational and administration records for the relevant activities in line with organisational guidelines.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, updating and utilisation of appropriate administrative systems and procedures.
- Maintain appropriate compliance reports and records.
- Answer all internal and external communications in a timely and effective manner.
- Ensure all staff and student enquires are dealt with in a timely, customer focused and relevant manner.
- Support the organisation of meetings, accurate recording of minutes and monitoring of action points as required.
- Ensure all financial transactions (including invoicing and payments) for this area of work follow the organisation’s procedures and are completed promptly and accurately.
- Produce statistical data, both routine and non-routine, as required.
- Book travel, tickets, transport or accommodation as required.
- Accurately and efficiently process financial and physical data as appropriate and in line with GDPR requirements.
- Any other duties commensurate with the grade and focus of the post.
- To provide relief administration/customer service support for other teams e.g. at times of peak workload.
Minimum Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have a good general standard of education e.g. Highers or equivalent (SCQF Level 7).Further details on the requirements of this role can be found in the Job Particulars document which you must read before applying for this role.
