Natural and Historic Environment Services - Shaping the conservation and preservation of local Heritage 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within our culturally and historically rich Cranborne Chase National Landscape.

The Chase & Chalke Landscape Partnership Scheme (LPS) dates to 2019 and is hosted by Wiltshire Council on behalf of the National Landscape Board. It is dedicated to enhancing National Landscapes, delivering 20 projects focused on the natural, historic and cultural heritage of the area.

As the Landscape Partnership Scheme Manager, you will work in partnership with other member of the LPS and coordinate the activities relating to Chase & Chalke. You will coordinate and oversee strategic management and delivery of the Chase & Chalke LPS, acting as the figurehead for the scheme driving stakeholder communications to secure a legacy for the Landscape Partnership. Specialist knowledge of historic, natural or cultural environment will play a crucial part in this role to connect even more people to the landscape and inspire generations to care for it in the future.

Our ideal candidate will possess a degree in a relevant field or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience, alongside proven experience of complex project management, and a minimum of 3 years team management experience. A passion for landscapes, wildlife and archaeology is a must, with a drive to engage communities with the landscapes and local wildlife!
