Summary
For further information on this role, please see the attached detailed Job Description and Person Specification : Acts as a role model for other pharmacy and Trust staff within The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, and for Pharmacy Clinical Trials services at a national level, with a clear vision for developing new ways of working and improving service delivery, in line with NHS policies and strategy. To undertake and manage Trust personnel procedures such as grievance, poor performance and disciplinary when required. To be responsible for the recruitment, selection and retention of staff to the pharmacy clinical trials team and participate in wider recruitment and selection across the pharmacy department and Trust when requested. To lead the provision of a high quality, safe, efficient and responsive Pharmacy Clinical Trials service to meet the needs of the Trust, across all tumour sites To strategically plan, develop and monitor Pharmacy Clinical Trial services, taking overall responsibility for ensuring the safe, clinically effective and economic management of medicines and compliance with current legislation, professional standards, organisational objectives and relevant 3rd party contracts
