Summary

I’m exclusively recruiting for a Technical Client Executive with a solid background in insurance to join a leading renewable energy company. This is a unique opportunity to apply your insurance expertise in a growing sector, working with a select client portfolio. While experience in renewable energy is beneficial, we are looking for someone with a strong insurance background, and there’s flexibility for the right person to transition into the renewables space.
The role is primarily remote, with occasional travel to a local serviced office 1-2 times a week, likely in the Warwickshire or Birmingham area, depending on experience.
Key responsibilities include:

- Liaising with clients on insurance-related activities such as projects, renewals, and mid-term adjustments, ensuring their policies remain aligned with their needs.
- Preparing underwriting presentations and defining insurance requirements based on client needs and business risks.
- Managing risk submissions, endorsements, and documentation for a range of insurance classes, including Construction All Risks, Operational All Risks, Third Party Liability, Protection & Indemnity, Charterers' Liability, and Marine Hull.
- Reviewing contracts, leases, and finance agreements to identify insurance liabilities and ensure coverage is adequate.
- Assisting clients with more specialist insurance areas, such as professional indemnity, parametrics, and carbon credit insurances.

The ideal candidate will have a strong insurance background (particularly in commercial lines or technical insurance) and the ability to manage multiple projects independently. While experience in renewable energy is a plus, we’re primarily looking for someone with a proven track record in insurance. Knowledge of wholesale brokers or Lloyd’s Underwriters is advantageous, though not essential.
This is an exclusive opportunity to join a forward-thinking company at the forefront of the renewable energy industry. If you’re looking to apply your insurance expertise in a dynamic and growing field, I’d love to hear from you.
