Summary
Your experience should be from an Engineering/Welding Fabrication/CNC Machining/CAD/CAM background. You should be a good communicator at all levels, organised and able to work on your own initiative.
General inspection duties to include;
Goods in, internal and final inspection
Patrol shop floor, inspection of parts, first off/last off
Reading and adhering to complex technical drawings
Assisting the QM with raising PAPP/ISIR Reports for new parts/customer requests
Assisting the QM updating/maintaining Calibration records
Using a Faro Arm for assorted measurements
Work with project & manufacturing team to develop and verify new parts
Raising Non-conformance Reports, including corrective/prevention actions
Ensuring compliance to ISO 9001-2015 quality standards as advised by the QM
Maintain H&S systems and procedures
Experience of Microsoft 365 (office) applications
Job Requirements:
Experience with Vernier Callipers, Micrometres, Thread Gauges etc.
Ability to read engineering/fabrication drawings
Knowledge of engineering symbols
Good to have:
CAD/CAM Experience
3D measurement experience
OHSE Managing Safety Cert (course can be offered) or equivalent
Attention to details and not to be afraid of raising questions and challenge people if needed
Salary: Willing to negotiate the salary for the right candidate.
On-site working hours: 0800-1700 Monday-Thursday (30 minutes unpaid lunch break) & 0800-1200 Friday.
