About the Academy:
Outwood Academy Bydales is an 11-16 school located in the beautiful coastal village of Marske-by-the-Sea, close to the North York Moors National Park and with spectacular views of the coastline. We are extremely proud of our tradition of serving the families of the community of Marske and surrounding areas. This was recognised in our recent ungraded Ofsted Inspection which stated “This is a school at the heart of its community”, and “This is a calm and orderly school”. Following this inspection we remain an Outstanding School, and the report rightly celebrated our many strengths.

As a key figure in our 'family', you will be expected to contribute to the daily support of the school and ensure all our pupils are catered for during their time in our setting.
About the Role:
Your team will consist of a SENDCO, 5 Teaching Assistant's at varying grades and an Inclusion Administrator. We are sure you will already be an extremely well organised professional and have the ability to plan and prioritise work to ensure that strict deadlines are accurately met. The ability to work on your own initiative and lead by example is essential. Nationally the needs of children are fluctuating and as such your experience of working with students with SEND is essential, as is the ability to produce strategies and interventions to assist our more vulnerable students achieve their full potential. The Outwood family is able to offer some exciting opportunities to develop your knowledge base through our CPD transformation model delivered at Outwood Institute of Education.
The role will require you to accurately input, track and monitor data relating to these students and produce reports and recommendations to both the Senior Leadership team and your Inclusion team. You need to be able to deal with students, parents and outside agencies in a professional, prompt and confidential manner. Needless to say, you will be an aspiring leader and able to use your existing experience in management to lead a team of staff to continue to 'raise standards and transform lives'.
