We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Graduate Structural Engineer to join our clients innovative and growing engineering team based in Manchester. As part of their team, you will gain invaluable hands-on experience and be involved in a wide range of exciting projects across various sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates looking to kick-start their career in structural engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the design, analysis, and detailing of structural systems and components for various building and infrastructure projects.
- Support senior engineers in the preparation of technical drawings, calculations, and reports.
- Participate in site visits and surveys to assess conditions and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of design processes and procedures.
- Assist in preparing project documentation and liaising with clients on project-related matters.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Expectations:

- Hold a relevant degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering.
- A strong understanding of structural analysis and design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software) is desirable, though training will be provided.
- A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to take initiative.
- A strong desire to work towards professional qualifications (e.g., Chartered Engineer status with the ICE or IStructE).
