Description
The Youth Practitioner PO1 is responsible for supporting and mentoring youth in various developmental activities. They will play a significant role in enhancing the personal and social growth of the youth in our organization. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young individuals, possess strong communication skills, and be able to create a supportive and nurturing environment for them to thrive in. This position will provide an excellent opportunity for professional growth and the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of the youth we serve.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement programs and activities to engage youth in positive social, educational, and recreational experiences.
Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address the emotional and behavioral needs of youth.
Promote and maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all program participants.
Collaborate with other staff members and community partners to create a comprehensive network of support for youth.
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify the strengths and areas for improvement of youth participants.
Document and maintain accurate records of participant progress, incidents, and any other relevant information.
Assist in the planning and execution of special events and field trips to enhance the youth's learning experiences.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, education, or a related field.
Experience working with youth in a mentoring or counseling capacity.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build relationships with youth.
Knowledge of adolescent development and understanding of the challenges faced by youth.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in computer applications and software relevant to the role.

Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £20.33
