Overview:
As the Paint Shop Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the paint department, ensuring that schedules are efficient, quality standards are maintained, and performance targets are met. Your role will be crucial in driving continuous improvement and motivating your team to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
Oversee scheduling to ensure efficient workflows and adherence to internal processes.
Manage daily performance, ensuring KPIs are met and resources are used effectively.
Ensure staff are properly trained and maintain high standards of performance.
Maintain up-to-date records and liaise with other departments on customer queries.
Adhere to Health and Safety regulations and ensure compliance across the department.
Drive continuous improvement and motivate the team to deliver high-quality results.
Conduct quality checks before dispatch and resolve defects as needed.
Lead daily team meetings and report to senior management on key issues.
Requirements:
Experience in paint spraying and powder coating.
Strong safety and workplace awareness.
At least 2 years of experience in a managerial role.
Experience in a busy workshop environment.
Ability to manage and monitor performance through KPIs.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
