Our client is seeking a dynamic Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join this international construction company known for its expertise in delivering high-quality, innovative building projects. They specialise in a wide range of construction services, including residential, commercial and industrial projects.
The responsibilities of an Assistant Quantity Surveyor
- Assist with tenders and procurement processes.
- Provide general administrative support to the site commercial team.
- Assist in the management of project risks and opportunities.
- Assist in preparing costs estimates and financial reports.
Requirements for Assistant Quantity Surveyor
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or comparable qualification.
- Understanding and appreciation of achieving the best value outcome
- Ability to utilise past knowledge and experience to minimise risks and maximise opportunities
- Basic ability to read construction and pre-construction programmes
- Sufficient commercial acumen to make considered decisions
- Familiar with and ability to use all MS office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Ability to prepare accurate reports
